"Communist Boys/Fascist Girls" is a new work by Antibody Dance, performed by Andy Braddock and Adam Rose, with sound design and music by Charles Mahaffee and Natalie Murillo.
"Communist Boys/Fascist Girls" describes a world where words like 'communism' and 'fascism' have lost all meaning, a world without values that requires an active nihilist response in creating new values from mere appearances. In responding to civilization, our bodies strive to match its mechanical strength, building up and breaking down in our efforts. In recovery, the passive body extends its strength through dreams and fantasies, prefiguring a post-apocalyptic utopia.
